An Unending Flow

Text: John 7:38
"“He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water” "

God does not speak to entice us. If He ever says a thing, it is truth and that is or should be your reality. All it takes is for you to believe it and run with it. Our opening scripture tells us that for as many as believe in Jesus, in them flows rivers of living water. This is the Word of God and not a lie. The AMP rendering of this text says” He who believes in Me [who cleaves to and trust in and relies on Me] as the Scripture has said, from his innermost being shall flow [continuously] springs and rivers of living water. Take note of the word continuously meaning that as long as that God child cleaves to and trusts in the Lord, it is an unending flow.

Understand that Jesus did not say He that believes in him will drink from the rivers of living water. Rather, Jesus said that the one who believes in Him, out of that one’s belly shall flow rivers of living water. We are not to go seeking for living water to drink, rather, we are the carrier of the streams of the living water.

The Child of God carries in himself the entity for Life and refreshment; streams of living water and this flow is unending as long as you are plugged to the source which is Jesus. In time past, we spoke about the gift of God which is the Holy spirit and one of the benefits of stirring him up is to gain refreshment. You must learn how to stir up the water from within you. This rivers’ of living water is the Holy Spirit of God.

The verse after our opening text reads “But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified. With the Holy Ghost in you, you should never be weary and spiritually drained. You have an eternal source that supplies Life and Nourishment to you. Whenever you feel weak, discouraged, or exhausted, stir up the river in you (praying in the Holy Ghost). It is He that refreshes, renews and restores. He is the rivers of living water in you.
