Benefits Of Praying In The Spirit

We learned in our previous diet that the gift of God in us is the Spirit of God and to have Him operational in our lives, we have got to stir Him up which happens when we pray in the spirit. What happens when the gift of God is stirred up? When the gift of God in you is stirred up, He releases power in your spirit and suddenly you discover that the capacity you have as a human is overshadowed by the capacity of God. Hallelujah!

Amazingly, this is the gift of God which we have all received as believers but not many of us are harnessing the gift. This tells me that irrespective of who you are, your educational background or history, you can function in the capacity of God. There is a gift that you have received that if you stir up, it can produce results if only you know how to stir up that gift of God.

The gift of God operates in various diversities and manners, but it is the same spirit. The bible puts it this way in 1 Corinthians 12:4 Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. The seventh verse of this same chapter which is our opening text says but the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. Note that scripture says the manifestation of the spirit has been given to every man to profit meaning that if you are able to stir Him up, you can manifest the diversities of God’s spirit.
