Beyond Salvation:(Part II)
In the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ is where the doctrines of Christ exist and from our opening text, we have been made to understand that after we have gotten the doctrines of Christ, we ought to leave it and move on to other things. Meaning that there are many other things ahead of the believer. Therefore, the church cannot remain at this point, else they will fail the assignment of the Kingdom.
The church needs to know that it is not enough to just come to church or identify with a church on a weekly basis. There is a need to understand the agenda of the Kingdom. However, it is sad to know that many believers are still at the point of laying the foundations of repentance from dead works, where they get to repent daily, whereas we have been told to die daily.
The idea of death is that the limitations of man will constantly be cut away from you. Remember, the scripture says that all have sinned and fallen short, but for a believer who dies daily, that believer begins to come up to the standard of God. For there is a measure of God that man must have to achieve and this measure is not a part of God but the fullness of God. Hence, we through whom we are joint-heirs with, will receive the fullness of God.
This is the place every believer ought to get to and not just pastors alone, but because God’s people remain as babies, the devil keeps causing rampage because God’s people do not know their calling and recognize all that has been made available to them. So, you find believers going to church, serving and giving to the kingdom, but the real work of the kingdom suffers because we are to be the Kingdom.
