Christain Devotion:(Worship)

Over the last few days we have been refreshing and reminding ourselves about the importance of Christian devotion. We learned that it is the most vital aspect of our walk with God and the means by which we can sustain God’s release over our lives. Our Christian devotion involves four things, the first of which is WORSHIP and one of the most common ways we can worship God is through songs.

If you’ve been a Christian for a while, you would notice that there are certain worship songs that tend to usher you faster into that frequency of prayers than others and most times, these songs change over time. Now, it doesn’t mean the song was wrong but your spiritual taste and needs have changed and when your spiritual needs start changing, the Spirit of the Lord starts desiring something else to equip you better but you’ve got to be sensitive to know what He needs at the time He needs it in your life and this you can only find out in your place of fellowship with Him.

These songs drive you to a spiritual consciousness where you’re lost in the systems of men but found in the system of God. The song or songs are not worship in themselves but they bring you to that atmosphere where you are in tune with the frequency of heaven and you begin to worship the Lord. This is a place you need to be and you’ve got to spend time in this atmosphere worshipping the Lord.
