Deligence In Faith:(Part II)
Our opening Scripture shows us that desire alone is not enough to get the believer into God’s prepared rest. This is to say that actions of faith are required of us. One way to act out our faith is by speaking. Our regenerated life is a product of the Word. It therefore depends on the Word for its growth and development. Our life is like a ship whose course is determined by a little wheel which for us is our tongue.
God expects us to constantly speak His revealed Word to ourselves until we see it is manifestation in our life. This is because the spirit of man is created to respond to words. Most people are ignorant of this fact. Some people ignorantly confess negatively about themselves and over time, discover such confessions become their reality. Being therefore armed with the knowledge that creation is a product of spoken words, we as believers ought to give due diligence to our speaking.
Beyond speaking, we must take steps of faith. It is one thing to speak and another to take steps of faith. It is still our year of Faith Leap. The dreams and plans you had at the start of the year are still valid and can be accomplished. What has the Lord instructed? Beyond declaring what the Lord has said, take steps of faith in obedience to those words. When we give diligence in acting out our faith by speaking the Word to our life and situations and taking steps in line with instructions, in due time, we shall reap the reward.
