Divine Fulfilment: THE PRINCIPLE OF BEHOLDING

Text: 2 Corinthians 3:18
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. "

Divine fulfillment is a RESULT of walking in line with divine blueprint.  This therefore means that the end goal and fulfillment of our lives as believers has been predetermined by a superior personality. And according to this predetermination, we are most certain to arrive at an expected end as we walk in line with the revealed blueprint which is the Word.

The possibility of discovering and attaining divine fulfillment in life can only be found in the Word.  Beholding speaks of seeing. Seeing the entirety of your life’s purpose in the written Word. Jesus, leaving us an example said, his entire life was according to that which has been written about him.

Scripture in Hebrews 10:6 reads- Then said I, Lo, I come (In the volume of the book it is written of me,) To do thy will, O God. When we study the life of Jesus, scriptures in Luke 4 tells us that He had a custom of going to the synagogue and reading from the book of the law. And at a certain time, He went to a particular scripture in Isaiah that spoke about Him and told the people, this place speaks of me. Jesus being the word of God saw himself and His life in the word and recognized it, how much more you. Just like David said, in the word, all our members are written.
