God’s Agenda: THE CHURCH PROJECT

Text: Matthew 16:18
"And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it."

The church project is not the physical building we see, but it is the heart of God, it is his agenda and God is interested in building his church. Jesus referred to this intent in our opening scripture. God is on a mission in Christ Jesus, and this mission has to be satisfied, fulfilled, and executed excellently.

Recognize, that when Moses was to build the tabernacle, God told him to build according to the pattern he was shown. The Church project has a spiritual pattern, and only those that have been introduced into the agenda of God will see this pattern and be able to work in it and partner with God in this dispensation. For we are partnering with him to execute all his plan and agenda.

Jesus has gone into heaven after his resurrection, and he has become the head of the church, and the church has become his body, so we cannot live independent of him. Everything we do has to be in the face and the personality/union of us with him by his spirit. Note that, the physical union will happen at the rapture, but for now that his body is on the earth, and the head in heaven, by his spirit, we are united with him. So, our connection with the Lord in this dispensation is a spiritual one. This is why in the agenda of God, the spirit of God begins to reveal to us the depths of God, which we speak though in the plain language of men’s understanding but are heavenly orders, spiritual dimensions that are not known to the common mind but are revealed by the spirit.

Realize today that the vessels that God will use will not stumble into these dimensions of God. Such a man will know what is required of him in the place of consecration and will realize that his consecration is the bedrock for God to use him, for God must purify every vessel he will use in his service.
