Good Success!

What is the idea of a best life? It is amazing that many of God’s children think that living your best life means having the best things that life can offer. This is a narrow way of defining what a ‘best life’ really means. This misconception takes the same pattern as we talk about the idea of success. When you hear that someone is successful, what comes to mind immediately is that the person is wealthy and famous. This is equally a narrow way of defining success.

Many have gone into a state of depression because they have not yet achieved the misconstrued definition of success. Sadly, this generation have been programmed by our culture and environment to mirror success this way. So many will never determine and acknowledge the successes in their lives because they don’t know that success will not always amount to wealth and fame.

Take for instance the story of the Wright brothers. They invented the first airplane. Even though they were successful in inventing the airplane, it did not translate to wealth and fame for them in their lifetime. The biggest company today that produces airplanes is Boeing. They didn’t invent it, they simply bought into another man’s success and they have wealth and fame. Would you then say that the Wright brothers were not successful? They were successful in their goal and aim.

In God’s kingdom, we play by a different set of rules. Recognise that as a God-child, the key to having good success is meditating on the word of God (Joshua 1:8). Go for good success today!
