Grace to bring Forth

Text: John 15:4
"“He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.”"

The third dimension of grace I want us to talk about is the grace to bring forth.  It talks about the breadth of God. The LORD cursed the ground because of the disobedience of man. That was the inception of the barrenness and unfruitfulness of the land. Remember, this curse was on the first Adam but in the second and last Adam it was revoked. Jesus Christ is last Adam who is the custodian of the blessing, therefore, for any man that comes into Christ, barrenness ceases.

Deuteronomy 7:14 says Thou shalt be blessed above all people: there shall not be male or female barren among you, or among your cattle. When a man begins to bring forth, it connotes expansion. Our ability to bring forth is dependent on our fellowship.

Jesus said in John 15:4-5 “Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.”

If you must bring forth for the kingdom and even in your life to a large extent, must be because of your relationship with the Vine (Jesus the Word). We cannot over-emphasize the place of devotion in our pursuit of the LORD. By our fellowship, our lives can bear fruit on daily basis. It gets to the point where we begin to affect our environment such that wherever we step into, even without us saying a word, our lights begin to bring forth.
