Grace to Protect

The first dimension of grace that is made available to us is the grace to protect. A man begins to access grace to protect based on the level of revelation he has accessed. This level of protection is given by angelic beings who are the ministering spirits as in the scripture above. These angels minister spiritual things to us. This is from the inception of our calling. The amount of this grace you access will determine how much you are protected.

Protection does not come from human measures or skills, but by divine measures. There are two vital virtues through which protection is ministered to the believer. Ephesians 4:24 says “And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.”

The new man in Christ needs to put on righteousness and true holiness. But you must know that the two are not the same. Righteousness has to do with our integrity, moral rectitude and our right standing with God and is a gift from the Lord. The right standing with God helps us build the right standing with men according to the standards of God. When you have right-standing with men, you will hardly have battle, men will fight for you. True Holiness does the same thing in the spiritual realm.

Isa 32:17 tells us “And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance forever.” When you maintain righteousness and true Holiness, it avails you divine protection. Seek to pursue and maintain righteousness and true holiness.
