The New Creation Life

The day you gave your life to Jesus, you became a new creation; one born of the Word and of the Spirit. You were translated into a new world entirely; this is the kingdom of God. There are loads of benefits being a new creation, one of which is that you become a Son of God. Do you understand that? You are a Son of the Almighty God. John 1:12 says, “but as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.”  This knowledge must take a hold of you; you are a son of God.

A new creation is one who has received eternal life. This life is the kind of life which belongs to God alone, it is called Zoe. This is a life of immortality, glory, honour and unending majesty. Scripture tells us “God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life” 1John 5: 11b-12. Because you have received the Son of God in your heart, you have eternal life (Zoe).

Another bounty of being a new creation is that you have all the blessings of Jesus. You are a Joint heir together with Christ. Every inheritance of Jesus belongs to you too. Romans 8:17 tells us “and if children, then heirs; heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with Him, that we may be also glorified together”. You are glorified together with Jesus. Also recognize that as a new creation, the Spirit of God dwells inside of you; you carry the very essence of God in you. He that is in you is greater than the world in totality. Know who you are today.
