Levels Of Purging:(Part I)

Our opening text shows us the first level of purging, which is the purging of sins. This first level works in agreement with the mystery of unleavened bread. The purging of sin solves the biggest soul problem of every believer. Every man has what is called “the soul problem”, and when a man is not purged of sins, that soul problem will remain. But when a man is purged of sin, this problem is solved and as such, that man is brought to the Lord in the place of salvation.

This level of purging delivers us from our biggest obstacle coming closer to God, and it also delivers us from that obstacle that prevents us from starting this journey of consecration, because you cannot start what you are not introduced into. The purging of our sin heals the separation between us and God. It enables us draw near to God without fear and guilt. That is why God tells us to approach his throne boldly.

This first level of purging brings a man to salvation. It purges a man of his sin and declares him righteous to God. Observe that when a man has gone through this level of purging, the voice behind the declaration of righteousness is only heard in the realms of the spirit and not heard in the realm of men. This explains why the persons around such a man- his family, friends cannot hear that declaration.  In fact, in many situations, the man is unable to hear that declaration within himself yet, regardless, in the realms of the spirit, both the host of heaven and hell can hear that declaration.
