Power In The Spoken Word:(Part II)
One thing we must understand is that this Spoken Word is God Himself (John 1:1), meaning for each time we engage the power of the spoken Word, we are simply engaging God in that situation or in our life. The starting point of the spoken word is in the amount of God’s word stored up in our spirit. You cannot speak what you do not know or have. As a God child, your speaking stems up from the well of God’s word that has impacted and taken hold of your spirit. When you do not have the word of God in your inside, it becomes difficult for one to engage in the spoken word.
There are times in our place of prayers, where the Spirit of the Lord takes a hold of our spirits, and begins to exert the same authority which God exerted in Genesis, where He spoke and things began to happen, or even in times when the believer is not directly praying, but the Spirit of the Lord starts inspiring words in the heart of that believer, such a man has got to speak them, because we have been declared kings(Rev 1:6), and where the word of a king is, there is power (Ecc 8:4).
Understand dear believer that the Bible did not say “where the king is, but where the WORD of the king is, there power lies”. There is a strong need for the church to follow the leading of God’s Spirit, this is how we can determine what He is inspiring us to declare but it begins with having the word laid up in our hearts. Do not wait until circumstances are dire before you study God’s word. Let it become a daily lifestyle because you see, you are a product of the word, and your life works by the word. Tune in to the power of the spoken Word today and recreate your world with the Word.
