Spiritual Control

Have you ever wondered why men do what they do? Why do you go to church? Why did you put on the clothes you are wearing? Even though these activities appear to be physical, the answers to these questions are spiritual but not many people know it. This is because not many Christians know that the earth realm of life is fully under spiritual control.

The Bible tells us in 1 Thessalonians 5:23 that God made man to be a tripartite being. The word ‘tripartite’ simply means three in one. You see, everyman has a spirit, soul and body. God made it so for a reason. The body is used to successfully interact with the earth realm through the five sense organs. This is the realm of the flesh. Unfortunately, man has paid so much attention to the body making him to be controlled by the things he hears, feels, sees, perceive and speaks. Man will continually be more focused on the body in many ways except he begins to be lectured by the Spirit.

There is the soul part of man and this part is made up of the intellect, will and emotions. This part is invisible to the optical eyes but it reflects through man. Your will determines your decisions. Your intellect is your intelligence and your emotions deals with your feelings. Many folks are also controlled by the soul realm making them to either hate or love someone. Most men know so much about the body and the soul but very little about the spirit. Recognise that God wants your spirit to be the dominant realm and not the soul or body.
