Spiritual Control:(Part II)
In yesterday’s diet, we saw that the human being is a tripartite being consisting of the spirit, soul and body. We also saw that most persons are more focused on the body or the soul, neglecting the spirit. Today, we would be going deeper into this subject matter.
Due to our interactions with this physical world, we have come to know so much about the body and the soul. Sadly, most humans hardly learn how to relate with their spirit. When God made man, the real order of God was that the spirit of man would lead the man. Unfortunately, because of the carnality of man, the body of man has become the leader. The Bible warns us of the result of this in Romans 8:6 “For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.”
You see, man is subject to spiritual influences because he is a spirit. Man has become a vessel for spiritual control whether he likes it or not. This is why demons can possess a man without the man knowing it. He may think that he’s living a normal life but his will, decisions and emotions are inspired by those demons.
Recognise that as long as man is unaware of his spiritual state, he will remain a victim. God’s design is for the spirit to dominate because the spiritual world definitely leads in the realm of worlds.
