SUCCESS: The Works Of Your Hands

Success is the sincere desire of all. Every man has a hankering and an unquenchable thirst to be successful. But do you know that just a few of this lot eventually becomes successful? This is because the majority believe that being successful would come miraculously. They want to get to the place of success, yet they refuse to step a foot out of their door. They are so relaxed, never going out of their comfort zone, believing that God would just pour down hundreds of dollars from heaven. These set of Christians are both naive and foolish.

You see, God is a God of patterns and principles. Everything comes with patterns and until you diligently adhere to the patterns and structures that He has put in place, you would never benefit from Him. One of the important structures that you must observe to get that good success is getting something to do.

Remember the account of the children of Israel? When they were in the wilderness, God provided for them through manna and quails falling from the sky. But notice that as soon as they got into the Promised Land, the land flowing with milk and honey, the provision through manna and quail ceased. Instead, what God told them to do was to get involved in something; and that He has prospered and blessed the works of their hands. Deuteronomy 2:7a says, For the LORD thy God hath blessed thee in all the works of thy hand. God does not sponsor laziness, get something doing.
