The Devil’s Devices

It is important that every Godchild recognizes the nature of the devil. Often, many persons tend to believe the devil to be wiser or stronger; This is not the case. God has given us the advantage.

The problem many a times is that God’s people are not sensitive enough to recognize the “patterns” of the devil. The Bible calls it his “devices”; This then makes the devil get an advantage over many Christians not because he is wiser, but simply because they were ignorant. Once a God-Child discovers how the enemy functions, it becomes impossible to ever fall for the tricks or devices of the devil.

Know this, the devil works in a repetitive manner. Every challenge, or trial he will ever bring your way is not different from what he used many years ago against someone in same situation as yours. It is the same devices. What God’s people need to do is to study the Word, look at the persons that have lived before us and learn. Romans 15:4 tell us; “For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.”
