The Holy Place: CANDLESTICK-(Part II)

We learned yesterday and through scriptures that the candlestick represents the 7 spirits of God who are living and function in the capacity of God. The bible tells us that these spirits have been sent into all the earth meaning that a man can possess them all, but it has got to be through the WAY, JESUS. The preceding verse of our opening scripture reads And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots. Jesus was the one being prophesied about here and we see that He had these 7 spirits operational in Him. This tells us that it is possible for a man to possess these 7 spirits and function on the earth. Hallelujah!

Many persons might take this to be the receiving the holy Ghost. Understand that receiving the holy spirit gives us access to the language of the spirit which is speaking in tongues. However, speaking in tongues is not the manifestation of the total infilling of the spirit rather, it enables us to interact with these spirits, and as we grow our relationship with the Lord, the more we are filled with the oil of the spirit which causes these branches(spirits) to pick fire and find expression in us. Glory to God

The first spirit that finds expression in the believer is the spirit of the fear of the Lord. Proverbs 9:10 tells us The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding. The spirit of the fear of the Lord comes with a reverence and honor for God. Fear here does not mean being literally afraid of God because the presence of the God does not come with fear, rather, it comes with peace and love and scriptures in 1 John 4:18 tells us that perfect love casts out fear and fear brings torment. There is no torment with God. What this spirit seeks to do in your life is to make you want to honor God in every ramification of life just like Joseph who refused to sleep with Potiphar’s wife because he could not bring himself to sinning against God.
