The Ministry Of The Word

Look closely at what the Apostles of Jesus said in our opening scripture. They did not say ministration of the word but rather the ministry of the Word meaning to offer themselves to the ministry that the word has. This is because they recognized that they are vessels through which God will use to build his people. The Word of God is beyond letters, it is a person and has an assignment in the life of the believer.

One of the things the devil thrives on is the ignorance of the God child. The Word of God has a special assignment in the life of the believer that many are not aware of, nor have they experienced. Remember several diets ago, I asked a question. Why did Apostle Peter who denied Jesus before maidens after some years could not deny Jesus even in the face of death. You see, Peter was crucified just like Jesus but not in the regular manner, he was crucified upside down because he counted himself unworthy to die in the manner Jesus did. What was going on in Peter’s mind? You can tell that this was not just a mere natural conviction.

There is a special work that the Word of God does to bring the God child to this level of conviction and this has little or nothing to do with your attending church services rather it has everything to do with you realizing that special relationship with the Word in your walk with God because the Word of God has a special ministry in the life of the believer and as a God child you must seek to pursue it until you find it and experience it for yourself.
