The Mirror Of God

We learned that every natural man is made in the likeness of God and by reason of his nature is on a journey towards death. Jesus who is the image of God came to the earth as a man paving way for men to journey into God and become His image. Our opening scripture shows us the transformation power to becoming the image of God: the mirror of God.

What you see in the mirror of God is not you but who you ought to be, which is not different from Christ, but it also transforms you into that same image. When you look into the mirror of God, you don’t see yourself, you see God who then transforms you into Him. Glory to God! Mirrors are given to you to become the image you see which is the image of God. Scripture in James 1:22-25 tells us what the mirror of God is. It is called the perfect law of liberty which is the word of God.

When a man hears the word continuously and does what he hears, that’s when the transformation begins. When the word of God doesn’t transform you, the issue is not with the word but with you which can be intrinsic (your heart) or extrinsic(inflicted). When a man mirrors God, he becomes a super human, a supernatural man with the abilities of God. God designed the supernatural life to be our dwelling place not a once in a while affair, but to arrive there, we must give ourselves to God by Consecration.
