Requirements Of Grace

We mentioned in the previous diet that there are three requirements a believer must satisfy in other to operate in the different dimensions of God’s grace. The first requirement of grace is the Sincerity of Heart. Scripture tells us in Ephesians 6: 24 “ Grace be with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen.” Not many believers are serving God with sincerity of heart; their service to God is out of wrong motives, deception, and dishonesty. God frowns at such Christians who are insincere in their service to Him, consequently, the grace(s) of God will not operate in their life.

The second requirement of grace is Work. There is a certain level of work that is required by a believer before the grace(s) of God can be realized in his life. Paul speaking in 1 Corinthians 15: 10 “ But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.”. You see, the grace of God requires an input of labor, though the labor doesn’t measure up with the dividend from Grace, yet it is a requirement.

The third requirement of grace is Obedience. The actualization of the different grace(s) of God is premised on obedience to the Word of God. The Grace of God doesn’t work for a disobedient Christian. Ensure to satisfy the requirements of Grace and see the grace(s) of God made manifest in your life.
