Understanding Kingdom:(THE VESSEL II)

Text: Matthew 25:4
" But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps."

Scripture tells us in 2 Timothy 2:21 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honor, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work. What the vessel signifies is you. You are the vessel and a vessel unto honor because you serve the living God, and the function of the vessel is to contain more oil.

Every time you look at yourself in the mirror, do you see a vessel unto God? Do you see a vessel in yourself? As a vessel, you are possessed, a container carrying something whether you believe it or not and what you carry is what you dispense to the world. There are no human vessels that are void, you are either possessed of God or the spirit of the world and no one can sit on the fence. You must have to be aware that you are a container, it will make you choose what stays in you because what stays in you is what you give out.

You choose what stays in you, it makes you who you are. It is what makes you talk the way you talk and see life the way you see it. It is what makes you react the way you do and approach things the way you do. What you carry in you makes you see life’s situations differently. Look at Jesus in a ship traveling and the waves were tumultuous, yet Jesus was asleep and when He was woken up, He calmed the waves. Be like the master, see life from God’s perspective, you are possessed of God.
