The Fathers Business

Seeing things from God’s perspective is crucial for God’s people. God sees the propagation of His kingdom as a business. This is because there are certain details that are peculiar with business enterprises. Every business survives on its profit. If a business isn’t making profit in its transactions, then it is set to fail and fade out. The word of God is a business that deals with the souls of men. It requires quality commitment just as expected to build a successful business corporation. Until you see Christianity as a business, you would not be able to meet up with God’s expectations. 

The kingdom operation is about growth and expansion. God did not invest so much in giving the life of his Son to having minimal outcome/ profit as measured by the number of saved souls. It is God’s desire for his business to yield profit at a maximum return.  Scripture tells us in 2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

The kingdom of darkness stands as the competitor with the kingdom of God in the transaction of the souls of men. As a child of God, you should take up the business of your Father with much zeal and commitment. It is expected that every believer should say like Jesus “ I must be after my Father’s business”. The child of God should ensure that the kingdom of darkness which is the rivalry of the Father’s kingdom should go bankrupt. Making the kingdom of darkness go bankrupt is causing them to have zero profit i.e. having no souls of men. Give yourself fully to the Father’s business.
